A photo of Youngs bay with the drawbridge over the Lewis and Clark River. You are looking South. About 3/4 mile to SW of bridge is where Lewis and Clark Co. wintered over 1805-1806.

Very, very good sun set photo.
I am very lucky to see most sun-rises in my school bus.
After that the sun is in my eyes all morning.
Then it is in my eyes again taken the students home.
So for me SUN-Rises and SUN-SETS are a thing of beauty..

cool, is the l&c area a park or historical site?

Jonet, I am not sure what the distinquishing difference is. I do believe it is both. It is open to the public. There is a replica of the old Fort, A museum and more species of flora and fauna than I thought existed. Also there is an old dugout canoe. All the other bells and whistles you would expect.
