Schrade 280 pattern "Daddy Barlow" knives. What variation do you have?

The big Daddy Barlow is a handful of old-school Schrade for sure. They came in a number of open stock and limited editions over the years. I've seen other folks post some amazing-looking examples. Show us the 280-type knives you have in your collection!

Here are my two to get it started. The first is an SFO for Mac Tools 47th Anniversary:

The second is the more scarce version of the Schrade 80th Anniversary Daddy Barlow. 300 were made with jigged bone handles, mirror polished blade, filework and jimping. My pictured example #254 did not come with anything but the red storage bag.

Some "fair use" pics of another example I found online. This one is #268 and the pics show what originally came with these knives.

The style of file-work varied on these barlows. Were no two are exactly the same in this regard or were there a couple different patterns used repeatedly? I haven't seen enough examples to figure this out. Here are two lined up:

That's the one to start this thread with for sure. Really nice oldie you have there! I was hoping someone could produce one. I couldn't remember the model number. Here it is as snipped from the 1934 supplement to catalog E. for reference. It looks like they may have exactly reproduced the font and positioning of "SCHRADE" on the bolster of the 80th Anniversary to match your 1147 3/4 example. The cut from the catalog doesn't match at all.

Outstanding trio! The pic of Herman happy in his shop is a good one to show in this forum. Lots of fans here. Thanks for including it. He made you a really fine knife.

Thanks. They certainly look like the same bolster stamp to a t.

Very nice examples, from both of you. I am quite partial to the oldies.

Nice, Paul and Cal. Calvin, that Daddy might be the nicest Herman I've seen to date, spectacular stag!
