Just a heads-up for fans of old Schrade celluloid. Deal Alert! I am in no way associated with the seller.

I need that knife like another hole in the head but for $11 why not. Cheaper than a six pack of beer, but I might buy one of those too. Actually, I have a very large quantity of celluloid Schrade knives and like them very much.

Celluloid is a case of "It aint if, but when". I prefer Mother of Pearl. I have a 1990s German Buck Creek in waterfall celluloid (handmedown--I would NOT have bought it myself), and it's eventually going to be a Buck Creek Diamondback in stag, since I have Buck Creeks that have, quite literally, rusted in half thanks to outgassing Mother of Toilet Seat.
Nice looking lobster! For $11, I'll say you did really well. Typically, that's what I buy, most of the time. I cringe spending more than $20 on one knife.

That's why I let it pass. Another reason is that I spent $100CAD on Schrade yesterday. I'm happy the 865 found a good home.

I have a big bunch of those Lobster knives if anyone wants some. None show any signs of handle deterioration.
