I’m going through knives that my dad recently passed down to me that he and I collected when I was a kid. Looking to learn more about them. Does anyone know the year and value of this Camillus? The tang is stamped with Camillus Stainless USA and the #5.

I don't know about the #5 but I have a #25 (same knife - one more blade) with the same tang stamp. They're always worth what someone is willing to pay for them. I gave $17.50 plus shipping for this one. I doubt yours would go for much more than that.
They were in the 1948 catalog with "Fisherman's Luck" embossed on the handle and no hook sharpening stone. They were announced as brand new stainless steel in 1976 and the stone was added with "Fisherman's Luck" deleted.

That’s a beauty Jerry!
I have a decent collection of nice fishing knives from various manufacturers and most of them were purchased for under $20. They’re decent knives and are relatively inexpensive (which is perfect for me because I’m a frugal individual)!

Vit_213,
Beautiful knives! And thanks for the link.
And thank you Jerry for the info. Very helpful. Also, that’s a nice #25. Looks to be in great shape.
Interested to see it’s worth in 20-30 years when I pass it down to my son.
Also, I’m about to post another Camillus in another thread that’d I appreciate your guys’ opinion on. If you can’t find the thread you can find the post in my profile.
