What Izzit?

Bought at a show. Full peined tang, looks like machined fuller and a deep hot forged tang stamp, 'stainless throw'. Guy had no info other than 'a knife'..

Hmmm? Doesn't look at all like a thrower, no balance, especially with that wooden handle. Neat piece though. ::tu:: Love the mystery.
How much $$ ?
Bought this old rusty thrower for $1 at a yard sale in September.Definitely home made. Good luck. J.O.

It doesn't look like that handle goes with that knife, but I know nothing about it.

The leather in that sheath looks old.

Thank you 'GG' for your insight as to the origin and time period.
'GG', in his email makes reference to the knife being made in the UK for use by the indigenous people in Vietnam against the French and later the 'NVLA'.
