I whooped this one out last weekend

I was doing a little more cleaning up in my shop last weekend. While moving my deer antlers around, I saw an ALMOST STRAIGHT base on one. MAN, I thought, "I am going to have to make a fixed blade with this one!".
SO, I just started cutting and drilling and before I knew it she was done. I spent a good bit of time sanding rust and pits out of the blade (this was a blade I have been moving around my shop for YEARS....LOL).
As a finishing touch, I thought I would scrim my "T" initial in the handle. It has been a WHILE since I did any of that kind of a thing.
Here she is.....
.
.
NEXT.... am going to have get brave and try my hand at leather work. This knife needs a sheath.

Thanks for looking y'all.

LOL..... "We don' need no stinking guards"..... LOL.
Thanks for the comment.
I don't think I have ever made a FB with a guard. Maybe some folks think they are necessary.... but not me. I just like the "plain" look.

Nice work Mike. Antlers are difficult material to work with, and you made them work for you! Love it.
