All About Pocket Knives

This morning I was thinking about all the people I know that have served in our military.
I decided to write something down about it. Here it is and I hope it makes sense to you
and understand what I was trying to say.

Who are these men and women we talk about on Memorial Day?
They come from every corner of our country and sometimes from beyond.
They are our children, they are fathers and mothers, they are the ones we love.
They come from all walks of life, bringing their own desires and strengths.
They love this country and want to learn a skill and serve our country and the cause of freedom.
They are the ones that render aid in times of disasters.
They are the ones we call upon in times of trouble, weather it’s here or in a distant land.
They are the ones that defend our freedom or liberate the oppressed.
They are the ones that defend our country against all enemies, foreign or domestic.
They are sometimes called Patriots, Heroes, Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, Airmen, Guardsmen.
They are Americans and sometimes Americans give the……
“Last Full Measure of Devotion.”

May God continue to bless this nation with those who are willing to protect, defend and yes die
for the cause of freedom and the God given rights of all mankind.

Whether you served in a conflict or in peace time
If you enlisted or were drafted
No matter if you served in a foreign country or never left the states
Whether you were in combat or in the rear with the gear
You served and that is the only thing that is important.
