Kabar 1189 Folding Hunter

I had this well used Kabar knife in my store and since no-one was excited about it I decided to dress it up a bit.
The blade was heavily scratched from someone using a grinder to sharpen it along with numerous nicks in the blade edge. And the brass bolsters looked like they had been used as a hammer at some point. I had some bone colored linen micarta to use for the handles and decided to leave the brass bolsters and trim in a brushed finish (I'm just not a fan of brass bolsters). The brushed bolsters look better in person, the brushed look kinds disappears in the photo.
I resurfaced the blade and gave it a new edge with the Lansky sharpener.
