All About Pocket Knives

Hi from Down Under... I have just aquired an Imperial fish knife in pretty good condition. It has scales of very tight grained timber, which I suspect has been cut from a burl. It does not have bolsters. Can anyone tell me whether this would have been a factory option, or has it been re modelled. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
