Nice work, Kaleb! I gave that knife to my son a few years back. I got it at an antique shop in Colorado. It sure looks better with your handiwork!

Is it CV steel bladed or stainless steel? It looks great no matter what the blade is made of. For me though, the CV blade would be a nice kicker for such a beautiful knife.

No it's a very nice carbon steel. CV is short for chrome vanadium.

I think most riggers, but not all are stainless due to carbon steel and salt water are a bad mix.
