Stitching pony

For those who do leather work I suspect you all know or even use a stitching pony. For those who aren't familar a stitching pony is a clamp that holds your leather while you stitch or lace it.
I have wanted one for a while and finally got around to making one. Thanks to my Father we designed the clamping system a bit different and used a non hinged jaw with a eccentric to hold it shut. The bolt through the eccentric has a nut with a handle on the end to tighten the eccentric so it cant slip. The clamp is designed to turn 360 degrees also . It rides on a plastic washer and held with spring tension on a bolt with nuts.
Figured u all might like a look at a useful tool in the leather shop. Happy Making
