the knife gods are smiling upon me!

I have entered a contract with Mr. Jeremy Kreis to build my fathers 1938 Latama Fishtail Picklock Automatic Knife. I didn't want to say anything before I paid him in full for the project. Jeremy has agreed to make it just like the 10.75" 1938 original. It will be an exact duplicate. It will come complete with a 4mm 1095 carbon steel blade and backspring with a satin finish, brass liners, nickle silver bolsters, firing button and slide button safety. (I selected black Brazilian Cow Horn with a few white streaks for added character).
The only difference between this new "Latama" is that it will have a larger sear hole and more durable sear pin. He is going to begin the build in two weeks.
I know you're wondering what this cost me? Wait for it... $425.00 + $8.00 shipping for a grand sum totaling $433.00!
Many thanks to Bill DeShivs for helping me get in touch with Mr. Jeremy Kreis without his help, it would never have been possible.
The wait begins.
