Can you recognize this knife?

I was going through some family stuff after my mom passed away. I came across a box that said my dad bought this for my mom before they got married.
Then it says they were married in 1890. I can read ADAMS & BR and I think I can see a fain O line BRO.
Any info on this knife would be great.

Goins’ Encyclopedia of Cutlery Markings lists Adams & Bros. No additional info, which means he had seen the stamp but wasn’t able to find anything about the maker. Maybe someone else will have something.

The pattern is called a "Tuxedo" and it has an "interframe" construction which means the sides of the handle are milled out and a decorative inlay is inserted.
It certainly is an old knife, likely late 1800's. Could be British, USA or Germany. "Adams" could be name of the manufacturer or importer. It is not a commonly seen marking. I have only seen one other knife marked "Adams".
