All About Pocket Knives

I picked up this interesting item at our local flea market today for a couple of bucks. I have never seen these before. The copyright date on the back is from 1993. Actually there is some good reading and information on these. The set is complete with 72 cards.

On Feb, 10, 2018 I posted the entire card series. "World's Greatest Knives." I believe they were distributed within "Blade Magazine" for a mail in offer. (27 years ago)

In 1993, I paid $16.99 total. Seems rather high in 1993?

Thanks for posting these. I had never seen them. The internet was barely a thing at that time. Now everything is at our fingertips.

I had to explain to my son how baseball cards used to be our link to the players stats and how information was so much harder to find.

Knife collecting was the same way. Any hobby magazine or catalog or trading card, was read and re-read over and over again, and kept safe from harm.

Now we literally hold the accumulated information of our species on almost any topic in the palm of our hand. These kids don’t know how lucky they are.

This is what they're asking for them on eBay.

Wow! I paid $5 for the set I have and it was sealed when I purchased them.
