Some old WARDS.1) 4" Stockman w/punch, main blade reverse tang pattern stamped "431" 2) 3-5/8" Cattle, reverse of spay tang stamped, "V"
3)3-1=7/8" Trapper, nice tight caramel celluloid 4) 3-15/16" Stockman
5) 3-1/4" Equal end pen, yellow mother-of pearl celluloid, reverse tang pattern stamped, "189".
Levine says they're made by Utica and maybe Winchester. The #1Stockman looks like it could be a Winchester. #4 looks like a Utica.
Ward's has been gone a long time. Baltimore had a five story warehouse store that had everything from outboard motors to bib overalls. Great place to go as a kid.

Nice Wards knives. I have a Knife/Axe set with the Western Field tang stamp. It was made by Western, but Western Field was a brand sold exclusively by Montgomery Wards. I will try to find my pictures.

Here is the Western Field Knife and Axe (hatchet) combo. As previously mentioned, this set was made by Western for Montgomery Wards under the Western Field name.
