All About Pocket Knives

Anyone have any knowledge about a knife like this? No obvious markings that I can see anywhere.

I suspect that; what you have is nothing more than a novelty pistol-knife made by makers from Japan, India, Pakistan, Mexico, etc., etc. A search on the net shows these are a 'dime-a-dozen', usually less than $20.00 and many as low as $7.95. There are numerous versions in different calibers available. It's unique, but nothing of value, imho. I could be wrong...I have been before.

I think it could also be a cigar cutter. No markings makes me suspect Pakistan or Mexico. Parker had similar knives made in Japan that were pretty decent quality, but they still don’t bring much, less than 20 bucks. LJ is most likely correct about it being a novelty, but that big opening that the blade slices through would be used to cut cigars too.

This is an ad from a 1994 SMKW catalog. I'm 99% sure this was made in Pakistan. You can compare it to yours.

You certainly don't want to stick your finger in the "trigger guard" and close the knife...
