All About Pocket Knives

According to BladeHQ: (in their video of new knives)

People were doing searches on BladeHQ for "Desert Warrior" knives, but so many kept spelling 'desert' wrong...they were putting into the search "Dessert". So BladeHQ said...Hey, let's make a "Dessert" knife. And they're selling like hotcakes.

Pictured is the SAK, but BHQ also came out with the Boker Kalashnikov auto in the same scheme.

I guess if you can't spell,you'll buy anything.

I wrote to them asking for a tacticool knife in that scheme that's not an auto... I can't get an auto shipped to NY. The little SAK version doesn't really match the humorous intent, in my opinion.

Whether it be for retailers, certain companies as ad knives, or even Victorinox themselves, there has been no shortage of Classic SDs painted up in really interesting paint schemes. And, they're not that expensive to pick up. I don't have any of these more interesting ones, but I think I've decided to get started, since I already have more plain Classics than I can count.

Definitely think I'll get this one. Hopefully, like a lot of others (such as those from Swiss Knife Shop, DLT Trading, and SMKW), there's eventually a 91mm to match.

Oops...I didn't do a complete search on this prior to posting. My bust. Didn't even think to check the Boker forum.

Spelling is just one skill set that does not really reflect on intelligence. It's (spelled correctly) not anything to be ashamed of but worthwhile to work on it's (spelled incorrectly) various daily usage. When there is an apostrophe in it's, it means "IT IS." It does NOT mean "ITZ". The King's English can be fun. I like to mangle it for fun but I kinda (vulgar usage) know what it's (correct spelling) about regarding it's (incorrect spelling) usage. LOL.
