All About Pocket Knives

I've recently taken to carrying a knife on my keys. One, the increasing amount of places that don't like you having a knife, but I rarely go in those places, and avoid them. I honestly used to just prefer having my small knife as a watch/coin-pocket carry. But, I decided that since I had a small flashlight and a prybar on my keys, I might as well have a knife. I first selected a tiny AG Russell, an original Japan-made Ultimate penknife. It was a great knife (titanium handle, VG-10 blade) and cut far above its small 2.5" frame. But, the small jewelry-type hasp broke, and I lost the knife. Then I tried some Ridge Runner el-cheapo I had (seller threw it in with other knives I'd bought). I lost it too (found it in the house; dog tag chain used as keyring attachment broke), but it was a horrible cheap POS. Then, I found a knife I'd had for a year, the Buck 285 Nano Bantam. Good ergonomics, great steel, great Buck quality, and a solid lanyard attachment. It is now my go-to keychain knife. I prefer the basic black model since the others have some kind of vinyl wrap for coloring that will just wear off. In fact, before that one, I had picked up an orange camo variant, and after just a week of sweatpants pocket carry around the house, it looked awful.

Yes, there are nicer knives like the Spyderco Ladybug (I own 2, and am getting the K390 steel/blue handle version pretty soon), but I prefer something I can afford to lose.

I am a fan of small knives and have quite a few. Unfortunately many of them do not have either a bail or a hole through the frame to allow them to be carried on a key chain.The ones I have posted are all just at or under 3 inches in length. I have not added watch fob knives as I don't think they are suited for anything more than cutting the end off a cigar.

#5 A couple of Timberlite knives.These lock open by the blade being pulled back by spring pressure when opened. To close you pull the blade slightly forward and fold it. Called a Nealy Lock designed I believe by Bud Nealy a custom knife maker.

Really cool knives you're showing K7K! I'm the opposite, I like BIG knives, but I certainly relate to the feeling!

A Fob or Keychain Knife? Anyone know anything about this one?

David! I saw a knife yesterday on a different thread, but I'll be darned if I can recall which thread, although, the poster did mention that they're copy was also totally unmarked! Sorry I can't help with the IDing, but it sure is a cool little piece!

This tiny pocket knife came as one of a group of pocket knives that I purchased. It's an IMPERIAL USA, single blade, 2 tool pocket knife. It has a cap lifter/bottle opener. It is missing the corkscrew. It broke off even with the liner so it looks and feels fine. I like it better without the corkscrew, it's easier to handle the blade and/or the opener. It is also missing the bail, but I can probably replace it. It measures 1 7/8" closed and 3 1/4" open. Here are some pictures of it.
