Custom from a piece of junk

Not sure if this counts as a custom or not, but I made it from a wrecked Blue Steel hunter (like the one shown).
It's double ground, 9.5" OAL with a "nuggeted" SS guard. It's a stick tang, but I mounted it to appear as a full tang by slotting the bar stock to very closely fit the stick tang.
It looked darn cool carried forward cant, weak side to an old K-frame S&W.
It was a present for my Father and he wore it at gun shoots because "...my son made it for me.", but not because it's terribly practical.
It's been in a box for a year or so and needs a good polish, but thought you might enjoy it.
