Rubbish bin rescue

A freind was going to bin this, i saved it and fixed it up. stamped J WAIN SHEFFIELD ?

Did you use epoxy to patch the bone?
If yes, what did you use to color it?

I used 2 part polyester resin to patch. and proof tint wood stain to color .a dremel tool to jig. then waxed and buffed it.

And thanks for the tips on dyeing the patch. That is usually quite challenging!
