All About Pocket Knives

[*]kissing crane 46 sk kris blade knife with bone handles in original box mint condition never sharpened in original condition my question is how rare is this knife I have searched and their is currently non selling and collectors say they are extremely rare to find . what is the value of such knife ?

Most of us here do not know German cutlery by the manufacturer assigned pattern numbers. By posting pictures people will be able to tell you if it is a knife they have seen before, many times, rarely, or never.

I posted a picture I see alot of the Strait blade but rarley ever see the Kris blade and I hear its very rare to find them making value high but cant find much info about that specific knife kissing crane is a great German knife manufacturer and they sell quality blades but alot are collector knives like this one

Very nice knife. Likely made in 1970's-80's ?? I'm not sure but it is not a really old knife. Value of a collectible knife is based strictly on supply vs demand and is not connected to original price. It is a fairly rare knife and the stag handles make it quite desirable to those who collect German cutlery which is a minority of collectors living in USA.
My guess at value is $100-$125 range.
I hope that others here will also post so we both can learn more.

I don't think I would call them particularly rare and value is a pretty subjective thing.The KC-46 is the smallest of three knives in the series(there might be more)and it also came with a clip blade for some reason marked with the same number.
As an aside;the largest clip blade version of this knife is posted elsewhere on AAPK and is 14 inches long. A knife similar to that one was the infamous O.J.Simpson knife.
