So the gold tests at 10-14K gold. File stamped RC CO. Blade is hard to read but I see, SEESON WREAG USA. Any help is appreciated in identifying and any other information.

Hi, and welcome!
We'd love to help, but without pics, it's going to be pretty difficult to get a positive ID on what you have.

I have a RC CO knife and it is Robeson Cutlery. Others with more knowledge will let you know more.

From your description you have a Robeson Cutlery Company made knife, possibly a skeleton knife (knife consisting of blades, springs and liners but not having handle covers, sold to jewelers who then attached covers usually made from precious metals or gems). Not sure whether Robeson made any skeleton knives but will need pictures to determine what you have. Here’s a link to explanation of how to post pictures on AAPK. viewforum.php?f=98
