Anyone know what brand this might be?

I found this in a little antique store. It's actually a pretty decent knife. The handles are very tough and haven't warped at all.
It has half stops, and good snap. The covered back springs are what are intriguing to me. the only thing I have with those are a Queen.
I know this isn't on that level. So, I just wondered if anyone might have a guess as to what the brand or country of origin might be.
Thanks in advance...

I think it was made in Germany.

Thanks Joe. It does seem a bit better made than the older Asian knives..

George Schrade patented and marketed the same style knife in the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s but they’re usually marked.

Seneca Knife Co. used that type of construction also.

Ahhh, how interesting, knife7knut! Senaca was a Utica/Kutmaster made knife I believe.
I actually have a couple of them, but have never seen one with the hidden springs. Thanks!

Interesting, knfcollector. Thanks for that info. I had no idea. Now it's time for some more research!

I'll do some research on that Charlie. It has no markings at all. Thanks for the tip...
