While it can still be edited can a reply be completely removed? I goofed. Instead of clicking on edit I copied myself creating a duplicate reply. Well, duplicate except for my spelling correction of course. Can I make the whole mistake go away?

Yes, you can flag it for deletion and state a simple reason why. Then a mod will take care of it. ::tu:: Hit the "X" next to the pencil then this will appear.

You can delete a post by clicking the 'X' at the top of the post. You need to do this before someone else posts after your post. If some one slips in a post before you can do this, there's a box for reporting a post (it's the explanation mark) & you can request a Mod to delete it.

As it turned out a moderator deleted it for me before I logged back and read the helpful instructions on how to do it myself but I'll know for next time. A big thank-you for both of you for the help.

Was that the double post you made in the China Made Old Timers topic?
If that's the one you were thinking of, I've already taken care of it. I run across it earlier today and removed it.
That's why Phil and I get the big bucks around here. ::rotflol::

Not a good move. Authority goes to my head. Tried it one time and found I wasn't cut out for management.

If a member disagreed with me on something like the definition of a jack knife I'd keel haul their blasphemous mouth across the forum's barnacled bottom!
