All About Pocket Knives

I just got this the other day. The BRS Eon.
It's a beautiful knife! M390 blade steel with a titanium handle and lock bar. I also love the green anodizaton treatment.

BRS has only recently gotten into the folding knife business. They are known primarily for their balisong knives. I'd say they are off to a good start!

Interesting looking knife. Is that the Eon? I got the Nomad in the Digicam right after they came out. I put the Nomad and SOG Trident in the same category as far as performance and feel.

Ir's a good blade. Smooth operation, and although I said I put it and the Sog Trident in the same catagory, I do believe BRS blades are a little better as far as utility. SOG's do have a tad of flex. The Nomad has none.

I have not heard of "BRS". Is it a high end knife from China ?

Their folders are, to my knowledge, made in China. Their balisongs are made in the USA. The company is run out of Maine.

O.K. Thanks. Looks like a very fine knife. Problem is there now are so many good knife brands made in China it makes it hard to choose.

I try to buy American whenever I can. My Benchmades and most of my Kershaws are made in the US. However, there are a lot of good knives coming out of China today.

I love that frame color, and anodized to boot! I have a couple M390 knives, they're super sharp and hold an edge very well.

Thank you! I'm actually a refugee from one of those "other" knife forums. I got tired of the snobby attitude of the self-proclaimed "experts" who hung out there.
