All About Pocket Knives

I haven't been on the forum much the past 2 years but I've picked up alot of good stuff since then! Here is a Kabar Fishing knife I got from a local guy I know that was his great grandfathers knife! This one has bone handles the only other ones I have found were the same jigging but black synthetic!

Nice one! They came is rough black, yellow celluloid, and bone with the bone ones harder to find. They also had carbon or stainless steel blades. I'd take some light oil and 0000 steel wool and get rid of that fresh rust on yours before it eats into the blade and don't store it in the homemade sheath. Yours also has the extra little folding catch that many don't have, may be an earlier version.
