All About Pocket Knives

The previous posting of the NYKC scout/utility prompted me to go back through photographs of my accumulation of this particular pattern. I have divided mine into official and non-official scout knives. Here are some unofficial knives mostly from the USA. Feel free to post any you might have.
#1 KL-63(year of manufacture)Amefe made for the Dutch military.
#2 American Knife Co. Winsted Ct.
#3 Boker with unusually shaped can opener.
#4 thru #10 Camillus from various years.The second one has an unusual nail nick on the screwdriver blade.#8 is a re-handle in Lexan with prismatic foil underneath.#9 & #10 are military issue.

#1 Early Colonial with curved stamp and unusual domed pivot rivet.
#2 Colonial with odd colored handles.
#3 Dunlap made by Camillus(?)
#4 Edge Germany
#5 & #6 High Carbon Steel.
#7 Hoffritz Holland. Not sure who made this one.
#8 Imperial
#9 Imperial with butter & molasses handles.
#10 Imperial with unusual shield.

#4 has an unusual shield marked Camp Knife.
#5 was a shell handled knife I fitted with jigged clear Lexan handles an a Lone Star Beer pin for a shield
#9 is a re-handled(in wood)shell handled knife.
#10 is a Super Kamp King.

You have just about all of them represented here, great looking group.

That Ulster with the etch but missing shield is in pretty excellent condition and caught my attention.

Here's a few. Won't list them all. Some "USA's", a Mountain Corps, a 4-blade Girl Scout, all black ones are Imperial(1 IKCO).
The other pic is a Catt., black bone with compass in a display case. I never pass one up. The Imperial at 12 o'clock is my EDC.

Wow those are awesome. I was tickled with my new forest master but these blow me away

I picked up a Non-Official Scout Knife today at a knife show not far from me. It was in a low bucks box, but I had to have it. It needed some cleaning and is going to need some dressing of the main blade, but is a neat little knife. The Blade and tools are tight with awesome snap with no wobble. It is a Royal Brand USA Single Blade Two Tool utility knife. It has SCOUT on the shield and a Compass in the Handle. It has a cap lifter with screwdriver and can opener. The Compass does work if you jiggle it and get the blade to sit on the spindle, but if you lay it on it's side it will shift off the pin. The handle material I believe is similar to the rough black composite material used on older Case knives. It's not delrin and not plastic.

From what I've researched on Royal Brand Knives, the company used that name until around1954. They did not produce their own knives and outsourced from other knife makers and also imported from Germany. This Scout knife is almost identical to some Utica scout knives I've seen.

Just picked up this old ULSTER about 2 hours ago in Snow Hill, MD. A little stained but appears not to have been resharpened.

I have two grandsons, one in Cubs and the other soon to be. They'll have some cool knives to show around. J.O'.
