Thought I might start a thread for members to post their favorite brews, be it craft, home or from one of the conglomerates. Throw in a picture of your beer drinking EDC too if you like.
Only 9:30 AM here, so this first picture is definitely not a current shot!

Haven't had a beer in a long time but I fondly remember Yuengling. Not available this far west (that I know of).

Love drinking beer, one of my favorite things. I usually have a keg of Ruby Valley brew in my kegerator. I replaced all the fitting with top quality MicroMatic stainless fittings and quality hose, premium Co2 reg, and I used stainless band clamps on all connections. When I buy beer at the store, I prefer O'Dells brewery out of Colorado, but buy some local stuff too.

Jerry, not sure about the Chicago area, but it has been available in west central Indiana for quite awhile.

I donβt drink much nowadays so Iβm very selective in what I do drink. I like my beer to taste like ..........beer!
Here are a few of my favorites, but Iβm adventuresome. Iβll try almost anything! Several of these are from local craft breweries so not available on a wide distribution. The Temptress is a milk stout, which is somewhat of an acquired taste. On first sip you think βnot sure I like thatβ. By the time you get to the bottom of the glass youβre thinking βI want another one!β But at 9+% alcohol you may not be able to.

That Temptress sounds delicious!
We have a milk stout here called Dragons Milk that has a high alcohol content too. Itβs definitely a sippin beer!
Milk stouts are a great winter beer.

Here a few of my favorites. John, I'm with you. It's too early here to start, but I think Buster may be ready.

Very cordial of you David. Probably not going to happen but nice to know the option is there.

I don't know about debut, but it's his first snow storm and he is having an absolute ball! However, he is afraid of the snowmen and snowwomen ( I have to be politically correct) as we walk around the neighborhood, and still doesn't get it that they won't run away if he barks at them.

Shiner is high on my list also. I think I started drinking it in the 5th grade.

Well maybe not but it was a long time ago. Shiner makes some good beer.
The original Shiner Light is the only light beer Iβve ever cared for. It was amber color and had some flavor but with lower calories and carbs. Then they dropped it and introduced Shiner Light Blonde in its place. Just another watered down flavorless beer like Coors Light, Bud Light, etc.

A treat for me is Warsteiner Dunkel. When I'm out and only going to have a couple, its Dunkel on tap.
Like their motto says "Life's too short to drink cheap beer".

I don't drink much beer these days, but in IMO, a Leinie Creamy Dark or Vanilla Porter is hard to beat when Winter winds are howling. A Maple Porter is also a favorite, but tough to find.

Currently getting Snow Blind, Starr Hill Brewery in C-ville, VA, doing some knifing research.
I think this thread might beat the train thread.

Ike, I'll trade you a Starr Hill for a Leinie.

John, I think you may have just started another one of the all-time great threads here. I never thought I might get introduced to new brews on AAPK, but what the heck! P.S.- Buster wants to know if he can join?
