Utica are surprisingly better than their regular fare. Haven't tried a Camillus yet. I got outbid on a really beat-up Moore Maker version of the OHO Cuda Quick Action. I was ready to pay $75 for it, but it went closer to $100. At present, I have a 2015 Queen (which was a factory leftover)--POS, a Moore Maker (rough, but usable), a 2013 Utica double lockback (great), and a 2001 Queen Stockman (flawless).

I have not used my Moore Makers so I can only write my other 1095 carbon steel Queens edge hold as well as can be expected for the steel and are easy to sharpen. My Moore Makers are pretty well made but my sample size is too small to generalize from and I did reject one that the eBay seller took back without complaining. In general be careful buying Queen made knives. During their final year or few years Queen sold some knives with their own brands on them that should have been rejects. Then their bankruptcy sale included bins of knives that had been rejected, unfinished knives and lots of parts. Moore Maker knives and parts were mixed in the bankruptcy sale. That stuff is being sold on, you guessed it, evil bay. Some sellers include the straight back ground story but many do not. Despite that, buying Moore Maker knives I've tried to limit my purchases to recognizable Queen patterns. Most Queen made knives are very good.

I like large stockmans and I like Queen so I'd like to clarify this. Do you really have a 4 5/8" Queen made stockman? The largest Queen made stockmans I'm aware of are 4 3/8" closed, have rounded ends and a serpentine shape. I have one branded Schatt & Morgan and others that were part of the Queen Classic line. Please tell my about any 4 5/8" Queen stockmans or tell me I mis-interpreted what you wrote.
