Buck 110 in amber stag

A coworker/employee of ours recently retired. I have been working with him at a few different places for around 25 years. Dang, that's a lot of time together, more than married couples, LOL.

Anyway, we got him a few gifts and such, but I wanted to do something special for him. I don't think he's really a knife guy, but I guess that doesn't really matter. I modded this Buck 110 with some amber stag. Nothing fancy, but here she is...

I like it ! It reminds me of an LB7 that a highly skilled craftsman modded with amber stag bone handles for me a few years back. It's sitting on my desk right now and is rarely too far away. It's traveled many miles and shared many adventures since I've had it. I hope your friend enjoys his Buck as much as I do my Uncle Henry. By the way, as always, very nice work Glenn. ::tu::

Wow! What a beautiful knife. Great job with the stag. Really a great present. That’s how stag is supposed to be done. Well done sir.

Here are pictures of my Amber stag 110. From the factory through Copper and clad. A great example of how not to do stag.

I almost returned it, but it fits my hand so good I kept it and carry it frequently, but it’s an ugly duck for sure. I’ve been told it looks like a mushroom cloud from an atom bomb. Lol.

Thanks everyone! I always have a hard time with those brass bolsters. There is so much material, it is hard to get them blended, they take scratches so easily when buffing.

That's sweet! I have a knock-off version of the Buck auto. It's not bad, but not the real thing.
