I did a search and can't seem to find a thread covering the boxes/tubes that knives came in. Can we all show some good images of the advertising of knife boxes. The older the better. I'd love to see some from the old makers from 1800's up through today, especially around WW2 era.

Hey Rookie, here is a thread, started by galvanic1992, but, you are right, it is knives and boxes, not just boxes.

Here are three Keen Kutter boxes that I have. The oldest is the one on the right.

There was also a thread started back in May, 2019 from Greg, 'gsmith7158' within the 'General Knife Discussion' link. "Old Boxes found containing mint knives" I posted a few there myself.

Here is the link:

Possibly we can get a 'New' forum to combine and share 'Knife boxes' instead of having them spread all over our site? (Just a thought)

Awesome, thanks Dan! I'd like to find a box image for all the old time brands if possible.

Great 'Hammer Brand' boxes. Official Boy Scout surely adds to their rarity and value. ::tu::
