The Cutting Edge

For the last couple of days, I have been savoring The Cutting Edge, a book by our own David R. This is a large format book filled with excellent photos of David's collection which is impressive in its variety and size.
Adding to the book's charm is that a few complimentary photos are interspersed among the pictured knives: pictures of his journey to Alaska and of his home office and displays. These add a personal note giving an unexpected warmth to the presentation. Herein are not mere collectibles, but tools that are appreciated and a significant aspect of the author's life and times.
The Cutting Edge has already enabled a visitor to quickly grasp the appeal of our hobby. If you have anyone with whom you would wish to encourage an interest in knives, there is probably no more efficient way to accomplish this than making the book available to them.
I certainly recommend David's book most highly. I enjoyed it from beginning to end and am confident you will too.
