All About Pocket Knives

Happy Father’s Day everyone! These are my Dads outdoor tools. He had the USN knife BoyScout axe and knife from his childhood. From his Dad and Uncles. The two blade knife is from the 60’s the Buck from the 70’s and his favorite buckle.

Let me add a picture of my Dad's knife, an 896K Schrade Walden from the mid 70's: I can't remember the occasion we were celebrating but I bought this knife for "Pop" at the local FRM feed store. He passed in '79, sure do miss him.

Happy Fathers day!! I gave my dad this trapper on Fathers Day years ago. He carried and used it. I lost him in 2018 and while cleaning his house out found it in his bedroom drawer. I will carry it today in his remembrance. Have a great fathers day all!!

I gave my dad this Uncle Henry 885UH stockman for fathers day on June 14, 1982. Dad was always one to write dates on things. I received it back from his estate when he passed away. Still has the price on the box also, $10.98.

As my father did not become part of my life until I was 43 years old,my grandfather was my mentor when I was growing up. This was the Kamp King he carried every day that finally came into my possession 25 years after he passed.
My father gifted me with this knife when we first met in 1987.He made it while he was in the Navy around 1921.
Both of these knives share a place of honor along with my first knife that I bought in 1954. Soon they will be passed on to my son.

My Dad is still useing his at 86 but i have my Grandpa's well worn Ulster knife Co.With my Dads old fly real Happy Fathers Day guys

To my Dad a knife was just a tool. He usually picked up something used and cheap and wore it out. This one had an unfortunate incident with a starter solenoid which was common to his knives. But I love it.
