Stumbled across this one with celluloid handles. What say the Vintage Case experts: Real or Fake?

No! The real ones were never made with a cap bolster, and never with those handle covers. That one is cold stamped - you can see the metal pushed up/out around the letters.

Ken, weren't all of them bone also?

The only authentic ones look like these.

Oh, Bob...I think pretty much every collector of Case knives would LOVE to have an authentic 25 cent knife...it's one of my personal "Holy Grail" knives. I was fooled once by a forgery (although not by this one with celluloid covers), but I keep hoping that one day...
