My goodness! I thought we had it bad at $3.45 per gallon for Regular.

Holy smokes John! I must have been looking at some outdated data.

Bought gas today in Marion Indiana for$3.35 a gallon. Thought that was bad then I saw the post about the price in California, ridiculous!

Here we pay over $1.20US in tax per gallon.

I just paid 3.15 a gallon here in south Florida .

Been buying gas at the local farm center for $2.99 for several months, last week it went to $3.09. Most of the stations on the main road are $3.30.

In the Interior of B.C. Canada, premium gas costs about $5.05 USD per U.S. gallon. Or $1.64 CAN per liter.

When I first started driving gas was under 30 cents a gallon. They would pump it and wash your windows, check your oil, tire pressure and most service stations had mechanics working at the station. Those were the days.

$3.35, give or take a couple of cents here in South Jersey.

You can still find regular unleaded at a few places under $3.00 per gallon here, but most of them broke that barrier last week. $3.09 is typical. More than double what it was here one year ago.

BTW you wouldn’t believe the number of vehicles here having Kalifornia license plates. They’re everywhere, and they ain’t here for vacation. They’re moving here in droves.

A couple of years ago we were energy independent. I guess it must be covid I doubt it can in any way be attributed to things like closing and not building pipelines or who was and now is in office. I am sure there are other factors. either way it is what it is. I do doubt prices will be getting better sooner than later. Have you noticed the atmosphere is much better now and the changes in weather are much better. Cali has stopped burning. Oh yes and the Chinese and Russia do not seem to be as worried about these things as we are since they have not cut back on anything going into the atmosphere. Illegals are still piling in unvaccinated. it all makes perfect sense to me. I guess that is because I drink. LT
