Hi there, I would like to see other Bokers from same era and preferably in Red Shield. Curious to see what’s all out there in the world, if you have any questions about the knives posted I’d try and give details on what I know.

Very nice knives, I especially like the shield on the Congress.

Clark23, I can't help with your Boker research but will observe that you have a very fine looking collection.

Thank you much for the kind words, I was never able to collect these myself but got second hand from collection I purchased couple years back. Just haven’t been able to find many more from the same time as these came out and love these.

I have this one from 1984. It's a Boker canoe made for the North Carolina Cutlery Club. Don't know much about why they were using red shields but I believe a lot of them were made during the Wiss/Cooper years. Boker was acquired by J.Wiss & Sons (later acquired by Cooper Tools) in 1970.

That’s a great looking conoe, and yes I’ve seen about the J. Wiss & Sons. I am intrigued these red shield more and like seeing more of them. I don’t see many 60’s and 70’s but I’ve seen quite a bit from the 80’s. The jigged Delrin is different from mine to the 80’s, I believe as when they switch over? I know 2 of my pieces are limited collector pieces and wonder if the other two are. Thanks for showing me what you have

The Tree Brand shield. I haven’t seen one like that before.
