A couple of quick-and-easy repairs

I knocked out a couple of easy ones today. I only had about an hour, so I didn't want to get too involved.
In the following pictures you can see the end that I ground down. I have it propped up on a small Sharp brand Japanese peanut. It had a loose pin and a missing shield. I repinned it and filed down a Schrade shield to fit it.
These two should get a little pocket time this week.
I got this Western in a group of knives. The main is worn down and the secondary is broken off.
I simply ground off the secondary tang and sharpened the main. It is thin, but useable. In the following pictures you can see the end that I ground down.
