A care package from home.

Hi Knifers,
Got a "Care Package" from Mom a few days ago. 30+ years & she still sends me "Care Packages", now that's a real good Mom!
Just thought I'd kill some time & show you folks what I got.
My writing & your reading keeps us both out of trouble.
I / we recieved some News Papers.
Mom usually sends me some U.S. Comics and any other articles she thinks might be of interest to me. This time it's an article about a Cooper's Hawk that had gotten into the Fort Hill Highschool gym and disrupted a Senior Night Volleyball game.
Then there are some cooking/baking goodies we like. Three packs of powder Ranch dressing, two packs of Nestlé Chocolate Chips & one small McCormick Pumpkin Pie spice. Pumpkin Pie spice tastes good in a lot of baked things. Cookies, cakes ect. My girls enjoy using it.
Nestlé Chocolate Chips are larger, cheaper & taste much better than the Chocolate Chips we find here. And some Ranch dressing. I like to make Tunafish salad once in a while and I like putting some Ranch seasoning in it.
Then there is a small advertising knife that she picked up for me at an Antique store a few months ago. Turns out that it has "Smucker's" advertising on it and..., it's even an unused, Swiss made, Victorinox Classic.
She did real good IMO!!!
On April 1st 2021, I had ordered ordered a limited edition Case knife and this Zippo lighter from Shepherd Hills. After 4-months of waiting for the knife to be back in stock, Shepherd Hills finally told me that they couldn't get the knife anymore so they would be shipping only the Zippo. It then laid around at Mom's house a few more months and after just 9-short months of waiting, it's finally here.
(They don't have any wild turkeys here.) I love the picture of the "Gobbler" on it & I always think bighomer should have one of these "Gobbler" Zippos.
This Zippo will join the others I have in my showcase.
And last but not least, there is a sign with my last name on it. The letters are actually hand painted ceramic tiles that I had bought on vacation on a Spanish Island called Mallorca, about 20-years ago. Must have been 2001 or 2002.
I had given them to my parents as a gift but they never did get around to using them for anything. Since my father passed away in 2016 and my mom has remarried, she thought I'd like to have them back so she had her brother, my Uncle Dennis, make a sign out of them. He is
75+ years old now. Anyways, he glued em onto some wood & put some nice looking trim work around em for me. Now I just have to find a place to hang it.
I guess that about wraps it up. Not really the most interesting story in the world but as I said, it kept us both busy for a while.
Below are some pictures & thanks for looking!
