All About Pocket Knives

I'm guessing this is a pattern 94, but without dimensions I'm not sure. A few things raise concerns for me, and I'm wondering if I'm just being overly cautious. First, the primary blade looks very odd to me - mainly the short pull way up on the swedge and the overall shape. Second, the pictures aren't very good and won't expand, but the jigging on the pile side doesn't look at all like the jigging on the mark side. What do y'all think?

I know just about nothing regarding Case knives Herb, but the blade and mismatched covers look suspiciously wrong to me.

I would not bid on it, for the reasons you’ve stated. Plus if it’s from Kentucky or Tennessee I’m suspicious already!

Wouldn’t bid on this one for several reasons. Look at the handle pins and their location from the bolsters. That’s just one thing that can’t be right.

The jigging and the blurry pictures raise my red flags.

Pins on my Bradford for comparison. The rocker pin is off center but not that far off.

I don't know enough about those to have an opinion on the blade, but it has obviously been rehandled at best (or partially rehandled).
Any legitimate seller should provide better pictures, though.
I bought one Schrade knife that was actually a newer China-made version, but strategically bad photos prevented me from knowing it until I had received it. I won't trust bad pictures again.
Now I do own several knives of Chinese manufacture, which does not bother me. Being deceived does bother me though, and I would rather miss out on a bargain than to be a dupe.

Counterfeit frankenknife. Fake stamps on new blades with some miscellaneous old parts. Never ceases to amaze me what prices utter junk can yield on eBay.

Seller has zero feedback but won't be surprised if it changes to one sale at 100% very soon.

The front and back scales don't match, the tang stamps are not old and original. the sad thing is the amount that unassuming people will bid. You used to be able to see who is bidding and notify them. too bad. Look at the seller and the state he is located in. I'm amazed that people bid on a piece of cutlery like this.
