All About Pocket Knives

Got a notice from KSF today advertising a new, made in USA Kershaw called the "Federalist"
I like the look of it, but probably won't be getting one myself.

I think these are also in the new SMKW catalog.

Anybody pick one up yet for a review?

I saw those in the SMKW catalog. They kind of remind me of a Benchmade proper which I thought was a great little knife.

I think it's a bit large, but it looks great.

But why the rather large 3.3" blade? Most of the places that have stricter knife laws on the books usually specify 2.5" or 3" blades. Thus, most modern slipjoints usually have blades that comply with these limits; and are thus pretty small folders.

At $105 it won't be added to my pile anytime soon.

I’ll have it for sale, if it’s not in a sealed factory box I will get it out and feel it’s balance and see the fit and finish
