After seeing the pics the above is true.tongueriver wrote: ↑Thu Feb 17, 2022 9:39 pm The proper designation is probably 34OT, not 340T. The OT stands for Old Timer. There is no zero. Meanwhile, I am assuming that the 50 year designation means it is a knife made after the 2004 bankruptcy closing of the Schrade factory. There is no image or any other information so this probably means a Chinese knife. There were no "Fifty Year" knives made before 2004 to my knowledge. I suspect this is a 2009 manufactured Chinese knife made for Stewart Taylor.
Actually I have found that there is a collector for about any knife - style, make, year, condition, maker, model , age etc - in fact there is a forum here on china made knives and often discuss Chinese made Schrade's - so you can see if anybody has more info there - I guess what I'm saying is somebody will have interest in your knife - Thats what makes collecting knives fun , you can collect what suits your eye and pocketbook - good luckformer173rd wrote: ↑Fri Feb 18, 2022 12:05 am OK....thanks for the insight....off to ebay as a paperweight!
