Found a few nearly mint ones so far, I think as I continue, I'm going to look for slightly used examples to clean up, spending around fifty per knife for minty examples won't work for a fixed retirement income, lol

Starting with the stockman's first, had a 897uh in high school in the early 1980's, lost it bailing around 1996, then bought a 34ot to replace it, funds were too tight for an Uncle Henry, had to go Old Timer. I still have that one, lol!

I concur. It is nice to obtain a new Schrade, but getting a slightly used one to polish up is even more exciting.

Nice stockmans, Oop. Those old USA Schrades with the Delrin handles cannot be beat for a user knife, in my opinion. That is what I have in my pocket just about every day.

If you look around you can find some good deals occasionally, if you are patient.
My problem is I don't have much patience OR money to spend on knives. Good luck with your quest!
Nice start on a collection!
Welcome to the insanity!

Welcome! We are grateful for a new helper to get some of those Schrades off the old Bay. Housecleaning, you know.
