Lambsfoot mod

Someone sent me this A Wright & Son Lambsfoot. It had the standard cocbolo covers. I was sent this white spalted oak (dyed) to use for the recover. Certainly makes the knife pop, and the grain is pretty cool.
As an aside, these things have some of the stoutest springs/pulls you can get. I did ease the pull a little on it.

You said it Glenn, that spalted oak really pops and I love the colors and grain. Another magnificent job!

Thanks everyone. It's an interesting handle material. Honestly, I don't think I was a fan of dyed woods originally, but I guess how different is that from dyed bone or stag? I've come to appreciate these variations on handle material offerings

Great job Glen, fabulous grain in that maple and looks factory fresh new. Congrats on some great work.
