All About Pocket Knives

Well.... Here is my first project AS A RETIRED MAN.... YIPPEE.....

I have had this one in the back of my mind for a while. I got a couple of the Statue of Liberty blades from the bay. I got some jigged bone from Jantz and tried my hand at making a Statue of Liberty "123OT size" knife.

I robbed a spring from a (badly hurting) 123OT and took a couple of liners I got from the bay and here is what I came up with.

SORRY for the crummy pictures. I am going to have to find a new photography technique....

ALSO.... I still need to do a little more final polishing and cleaning before I call it finished......

That Statue of Liberty knife is a real beauty. I saw a few of those blades in the bay but didn’t pick one up. After seeing your knife I’ll have to see if I can grab one or two.

Congratulations on the retirement. I’m in the single digits until my day of liberation. The big question though is have you yet joined a morning lying coffee drinking club? That’s usually one of the first things that happens around here.

LOL.... yep, all I need is a pair of white tennis shoes, black knee high socks, a pair of white shorts and a High-waiian flower-dy shirt (with an old man style fishing hat)!!
