All About Pocket Knives

I just finished this 125ot. I used some bone I had purchased awhile back and finally got the nerve to try it on a bigger knife. Just thought I would share.
You guys have really got me into this knife work It is a good way to relax. plus I am really having fun.

I think it was called carved stag buffalo horn. I have had it awhile and naturally I throughout the invoice. I should keep better track so if I like something I can order it again. Live and learn.

I love the jigging on those handles, too. It has a rugged look that fits perfectly on a large-framed folding hunter!

Picking out the handle material for me is a hard decision. Bone for me is especially hard. The color of the bone. smooth bone ,jigged bone ,does it look correct for the type knife it is going to be used on. Maybe I over think it. I get some ideas from people on this site seeing what they do. But the biggest thing I like is I did not crack the BONE !!!!
