I went into a Pawn shop this morning and saw a broken back handled Case knife. The owner a old man had it for $5.00 in his used knives.
I look at it and the back handle was bad , but it was stamped the 20-40's stamping.
I bought it and have added picture for you to comment. Can I get the handles repair or should I ? The number on the back is C6150SAB
I tried to take a picture of the tang too.

Question is do I clean it? Is it worth much with the handle broke?
Any help is appreciated. I usually only keep nice condition knives, but this is the oldest Case I now have.

Wow, what a deal. Clean it with some fine steel wool and wd-40. Have a pro replace the back handle, they will be able to match the jigging. Case is not my main interest, but that is a good looking knife.

HI!

Nice knife, check out my post on the CASE Warren knife and look at the name of the guy who repaired it for me. I highly recommend him and he is not over priced. Great communication. You won't go wrong with him.
