Just picked up this really odd Gravity knife. It’s marked New York Knife Walden. I have never seen one like it. I have a couple of collectors looking for info and nothing so far. If anyone has seen one like it or has any info on it please let me know. It’s 9 1/2” open. Thanks Mike

Mike that's wild, looks heavy enough to club someone to death if the blade fails to pop out! Try Bob Pomerantz, he's pretty darned knowledgeable about the old military edged weapons.

Somehow reminds me of some attributes of divers' knives.

Very cool and unusual pieces Mike! The 2 OTF's appear to have very dull rounded blades, I'm wondering what a knife like that would be used for, almost looks like a butter knife blade?

I've wanted a tri-folder for ages, but I'm concerned some bored Customs agent will figure out how to open it 1-handed and seize it as a gravity knife, but I might still chance it eventually if I spot one I can't live without! Barry Wood makes some beauties!

A gravity knife underwater, Chris? I doubt the water pressure would allow for the blade to slide in n' out smoothly, but what do I know!

The blade does look like that used on an abalone harvesting tool.
