3 7/8 to 4 1/4. Nothing bigger or smaller than that. (Medium stockman and trapper lengths)

4 1/4” is my favorite, unless it’s a Camillus 72 (the biggest little knife you’ll ever carry). With that one exception, much smaller than 4” and there’s not enough knife for my hand

Good post, Bro. Wade! I agree 100%, a #49 Queen or a 75 series Case, enough to work with.

Do you happen to have a Camillus 89? It’s just about my favorite toting knife these days. It’s the same size as the CASE 75 (my first love) but I like it a lot better for using.
Stagalon scales (no chips), the clip blade has a long pull and a swedge, I’m a sucker for a swedge, and the icing on the cake, the sheepsfoot sits flush with the clip. I didn’t think the CASE 75 could be improved upon until I picked up my first one of these at a trade day.
Here’s mine that is well used and stained up from gardening, surgery on livestock, cleaning out my fingernails…
I don’t have a #49 Queen. I’ll have to keep my eyes open.

Wade,
Don't have a #89 Camillus.
Only knife I have with that handle is a Muskrat that I found somewhere, the blades were dinged up and Dale put Western USA blades in it, it's only 3 7/8" closed.
The #49 Queens are getting pricey as is everything else.
