Camillus made for Sears

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

Camillus made for Sears

Post by rea1eye »

I got this Craftsman knife for Christmas this year. Has seen
some use and abuse. What year do you think is was made?

I read above post. I was hoping someone had a old Sears Tool Catalog
or the original box/packaging that might shed light on the manufacturing year.

These knives were never in any catalogs as they were assembled from leftover parts in 2005-2006.
And another addition. It wasn't made for Sears. They just used a blade marked "Sears".

Thanks for the information vit_213. Seems as though
this was about the time Camillus was going under and out.
