SHARP TM Pocket Knives

I recently purchased a SHARP band folding knife. On one side of the blade is stamped 440 Stainless Japan and on the other SHARP TM. At the back end of the blade on one side are the numbers 14677. Would you think that the numbers represent the Model Number of the knife or would you think it it is the serial number of the knife. The blade measures 3 inches and the OAL is about 7 inches. I do not know how to post photos so I know that makes this identification a lot more difficult. Any thoughts?

Sorry, I have no idea what the numbers on your SHARP TM represent.
All I have on SHARP, is that SHARP was a house brand used by Kmart from the '1970s-1990s.
There are a few SHARP pocket knives posted here:

I know next to nothing about Sharp brand knives except they were sold by K-mart, and some were made by Camillus, others were made in Taiwan or Japan. However it appears some did have 5 digit serial numbers in addition to the 3 digit model numbers. Read through the posts in this thread for more info. About 20 posts down is a knife which the poster says has a serial number.

I picked up 3 more Sharp brand knives in the last couple of weeks, but have only gotten around to posting them now.

- Pair from Skip
Skip (New_Windsor_NY) offered these two in trade. I am in the process of making shields for them now.
Then Theo bombed me with this Stockman:

- One from Theo
That got me to thinking that I now have a small collection of Sharp Brand knives now. So I dug them all out:

- All together
Then here is the breakdown of the model numbers that I have:

- Model 260 Peanut
260 Pen knife, 2-1/16" long.

- Pair of 270 Peanuts
270 Peanut, 2-7/8" long.

- Pair of 380 Stockman
380 Stockman, 3-1/4" long

- Model 700
Model 700 Lockback, 3" long.

- Model 100
Model 100 Lockback, 3-3/16"

- Model 200
Model 200 Lockback, 4-5/16"

- A pair of Model 300
Model 300 Lockback, 5-1/4" long.

The fact that the blade is stamped "440 Stainless Japan" indicates that the blade material is likely 440 stainless steel and that the knife was manufactured in Japan.
